Project Description:
A single storey 235m2 new build cavity blockwork 2 classroom extension facility, with offices and toilets near Athy town.
The project programme was accelerated from 20 weeks and was completed in 10 weeks. The extension involved minor alteration to the existing school and the completed project is plaster and painted throughout with vinyl floor finishes, we also carried out extension to the heating, electrical, intruder and fire alarm systems. The extension was ready for occupation at the start of the new term. Minor external works included alterations to parking and play areas and connection into the existing waste water treatment plant.

Project Description:
Single storey building cavity blockwork (area of extension 167m2), 1 classroom extension facility, with 2 offices (principals and secretary) and WC facilities, the extension also included for alterations to the existing building and external drainage. The external drainage that was dug around the school to a depth of 3.500m to allow for a Microstrain (stormwater) drainage system, alterations to existing school included a link corridor linking the existing building to the new extension and a new fire exit to the Assembly Hall, and the re furbishment of the exising timber floor and timber panels in the Assembly Hall, windows were removed from the existing Assembly hall and blocked up to form the new corridor, there was also a new Disabled WC allocated to the principals OLD office. The school remained in operation during the construction stage consisting of 168 students and 10 teachers.This was funded by the Department of the Education

Project Description:
Single storey building cavity block work, 1 classroom extension (area 147m2), with hall and WC facilities, the extension also included for minor alterations to the existing building and external drainage, the school remained in operation during the construction period. This was a one classroom extension on to an existing school, the play ground area had to be extended out by 6m x 80m and new permanent fencing provided, new drainage for sewage and stromwater was provided as the old storm and foul line was running under where the new extension was proposed to be constructed, a new corridor was formed to link the new extension to the old building. Painting and Decorating to specific areas in the old school, new wifi system had to be installed into the existing school, fire doors had to be installed to certain areas of the existing school as it was not conforming to the fire regulation. consisting of 204 students and 11 teachers This was Funded by the Department of Education.

Project Description:
Single storey building cavity blockwork (area of extension 390 m2), 3 classroom extension facility, with WC facilities, and storage room, the extension also included for alterations to the existing building and external drainage. Alterations to existing school included a link corridor linking the existing building to the new extension and with a Kingspan panel roof, up grade works to septic tank and playground area was resurfaced . The school remained in operation during the construction stage consisting of 190 students and 9 teachers This was funded by the Department of the Education.

Project Description:
Upgrade works to the bathroom areas of this school, this involved a total gut out of the existing WC facilities and the careful removal and disposal of asbestos items, and air test, new partition were constructed and bathroom areas were re-slabed and plastered, the heating was also up graded in these areas along with the electrical works new lighting, new flooring coverings, and painted etc. The school remained in operation during the construction stage consisting of 190 students and 8 teachers This was funded by the Department of the Education.

CRECHE, LISSVARINANE, Co. TIPPERARY
Project Description:
Located in a valley near Tipperary town this single storey 252m2 new build cavity blockwork crèche facility incorporating solar water heating, solar photovoltaic, rainwater harvesting and under-floor heating. The crèche has 5 classrooms with toilet facilities for each classroom, offices, catering and staff room facilities and a full computer network throughout. Externally the rear has a secure play area with synthetic grass, car parking 18 cars, retailing walls, automated roller gate and boundary railings.

CRECHE, KILKEE, Co. CLARE
Project Description:
A two storey 550m2 new build crèche facility, on piled foundations with ground beams due to poor ground conditions. The development is located on a brown field site within a residential area. The scheme included car parking, boundary railings, street lighting, CCTV, drainage connection, working adjacent existing structures and rubber play surfaces. The completed project is plaster and painted throughout with vinyl floor finishes, we also carried out under-floor heating, solar hot water, passenger lift, precast concrete first floors.
